I need a spreadsheet template to log issues for my app project.
Mobile E-Commerce App Project Issue Log
This issue log will help track and manage bugs, roadblocks, scope changes and other issues that arise during our 6-month mobile app development project.
Issue Tracking Process
- Team members should log any issues as soon as they are identified
- Include as much relevant detail as possible in the issue description
- The project manager will review and prioritize issues daily
- High priority issues should be addressed immediately
- Aim to resolve issues as quickly as possible to minimize impact on project timeline
- The project manager will assign owners and track progress through to resolution
Issue Priority Levels
- High: Major impacts to project timeline, budget or functionality. Requires immediate attention.
- Medium: Noticeable impacts to timeline, budget or functionality. Address as soon as resources allow.
- Low: Minimal impacts that can be resolved as time allows without disrupting critical path.

Issue Resolution Process
- Focus on resolving the highest priority issues first
- Collaborate with the team to identify root causes and discuss solutions
- Provide regular status updates, especially on high priority issues
- Proactively communicate issues to stakeholders if they impact scope, timeline or budget
- Document the resolution and any key decisions or changes
- Analyze issue trends and identify areas for process improvements
Effective issue management will be key to keeping this complex project on track. Log issues promptly, prioritize ruthlessly, and drive them to resolution. Escalate promptly if issues are blocked or not progressing. Communicate, communicate, communicate!
